Isaac: So how are things going with Blaine?
Ruby: It's okay I guess. It's just... I don't feel like it's right. It's hard sometimes. When two people who are so different to stay together. We have a lot of obscure things in common sure. But for everything normal and natural, we are two complete different beings. And in the beginning, it's easy to look past. But in the long run, it's hard to stay in. You know what I mean? The common things stop being so miniscule, and start becoming more aparent. Day after day they become bigger and bigger problems. And in the end you think to yourself, do we really belong together?
Isaac: Yeah that's understandable. Are you going to break up with him?
Ruby: I don't know quite yet.
Isaac: Yeah... Sophia and I are doing well.
Ruby: Oh yeah?
Isaac: Yeah it's been really nice. I really care for her.
Ruby: I know.
Isaac: You know, if it weren't for you this whole thing probably wouldn't happen.
Ruby [Pause]: What?
Isaac: You remember a few months back when I was over at your house?
Ruby: Which time?
Isaac: When you had to go to work so I just hung around your place til you got off.
Ruby: Yeah.
Isaac: Well I was on your computer browsing the net and all that. And I guess you left your AIM on or something, because Sophia tried to talk to you. I told her that you were at work.
Ruby: Uh huh.
Isaac: Well her and I started talking, and I told her what happened between me and Stephanie. And she said "Well I'll be your cuddle buddy." And at the time I was like "okay whatever." and she offered to get me ice cream. I didn't really think she would, I thought she was just trying to say stuff to make me feel better. But a few weeks later, she showed up at my house with some ice cream. And we just started hanging out more and more, and you know what happened after that.
Ruby: Yeah.
Isaac: So if she didn't try to get in contact with you then, this whole thing probably wouldn't have happened. Because you know, I didn't really talk to her before that.
Ruby: Wow, that's interesting.
Isaac: Yeah [laughs]
Ruby: I don't even have to try anymore to set people up. It just works out. [laughs]
